The Women’s Leadership Foundation is working with other Colorado organizations to recognize companies who add women to their board and to share strategies to help Colorado become a leader with gender parity on public company boards. Other members include the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Colorado Chapter of Women Corporate Directors and the Denver Economic Development and Opportunity.

The Thirty Percent Coalition is a national organization of more than 80 members committed to the goal of women, including women of color, holding 30% of board seats across public companies. Formed in 2011, the Coalition includes public companies, private equity, institutional investors, professional service firms, national women’s organization, and government officials for the first time working together to drive the pace of change. The Coalition’s work is on the demand side of board Diversity—influencing corporations to strengthen their efforts to increase the number of women on their boards.

The ION Network was established in 2004 to advance women to the boardroom -- providing corporations and non-profit organizations with direct access to a national platform of board directors and C-suite female candidates.

ION gives Boardbound by Women’s Leadership Foundation national reach. Our nationally-recognized network of 6,000+ female senior leaders are currently serving on boards, are actively preparing for board service or are aspirational professionals gaining mentorship and core skills.
