Nonprofit Boardbound Training Program

Nonprofit Boardbound aka Community Boardbound was offered for many years until 2023. This rigorous program was a board-readiness program for women inspired to serve on boards of nonprofits, including service organizations, education institutions, hospitals, and city or state boards and commissions. Being part of a non-profit board gives you the opportunity to apply your talents to make a meaningful difference. It’s good for your career, good for your heart, and good for the world.

Securing a board seat and successfully serving on a non-profit board require a specific set of competencies, knowledge, and strategies.  Nonprofit Boardbound helped participants skillfully and confidently step into board service.

Programming included:

  • Networking with women passionate about doing good in our community and making meaningful change

  • Opportunities to connect with and learn from leaders of important community organizations

  • A focus on board leadership and non-profit governance expertise

  • A certificate awarded upon completing graduation
