The Women’s Leadership Foundation is working with other Colorado organizations to recognize companies who add women to their board and to share strategies to help Colorado become a leader with gender parity on public company boards. Other members include the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Colorado Chapter of Women Corporate Directors and the Denver Office of Economic Development.

The Thirty Percent Coalition is a national organization of more than 80 members committed to the goal of women, including women of color, holding 30% of board seats across public companies. Formed in 2011, the Coalition includes public companies, private equity, institutional investors, professional service firms, national women’s organization, and government officials for the first time working together to drive the pace of change. The Coalition’s work is on the demand side of board Diversity—influencing corporations to strengthen their efforts to increase the number of women on their boards.

Established in 2004, ION is the national consortium of member organizations whose mission is to increase the number of women appointed to corporate boards and the executive suite. Representing 12 major regions in the US and nearly half of the 28 million women working in management and professional roles across the nation, ION provides a forum where women’s leadership organizations can leverage best practices and share leads for board opportunities.

Orange Marketing developed our logo and the infographics about women on boards that are used in print collateral and on the Women’s Leadership Foundation home page.

Fireclay Communication consulted with the Board to develop our Vision and Mission statement and help with other communications.
