The Women’s Leadership Foundation annually acknowledges and awards Colorado-based publicly traded companies that have placed at least two women on their board of directors with corporate salute awards. When the Board Bound program was created four years ago, Colorado had one of the lowest rates of placing women on boards at 7%. Due to the hard work of many individuals and the Women’s Leadership Foundation, this rate has increased to 11%.
